I have an admiration for all these blog writers that I follow that have children, jobs, husbands, ballgames, dance recitals to attend, etc etc... I don't see how you do it. However I wanted to keep people up to date on our lives, so I'm going to try to do a little better on updating this! Things have been so busy. With the awful storms that came through Alabama, Charlie and I lost power for 6 days. To escape, we went to the beach. I never thought we would be driving that far with a ten day old, but we made it! Last week I turned the big 2-5, my family came to town, it was Mother's Day, and things aren't slowing down at all!
Hudson is three weeks old already! He is doing great and I'm enjoying every moment with him. At his last appointment he was up to 8.5 lbs and had grown over an inch. He is such a long baby! Hudson is also very alert for a newborn and is very expressive! Most people say he looks like both Charlie and I. I definitely see Charlie in him, and I think he looks SO much like my Dad. My niece Ava said we should call him "Papaw Jr." I thought that was so cute. Hudson changes so much, I'll have to better about posting pictures!
